If Dayton Area Cities Were Cars (Part 3 of 3)

If Dayton Area Cities Were Cars (Part 3 of 3)

Not everyone’s looking for the big suburbs or flashy city centers. Some of the best places to live around Dayton are the ones that sit just outside the conversation — until now.

Let’s close it out:

20. Brookville = Honda

Reliable, affordable, and quietly loved.
Brookville isn’t loud or trendy, but it’s a favorite among people who just want a good house, a good yard, and a short drive to where they work. It’s consistent, calm, and built for longevity.

21. Carlisle = Dodge Ram

Small-town muscle.
Carlisle is blue-collar with pride — a little grit, a lot of pickup trucks, and families who’ve been in the area for generations. Feels like a tight-knit crew cab neighborhood.

22. Piqua = Chrysler

Mid-size city with deep roots.
Piqua has old industry, affordable homes, and a sense of structure. Some parts are rougher around the edges, but others are making big moves. It’s got legacy vibes — and still runs.

23. New Carlisle = Nissan

Functional, modest, and sometimes surprising.
New Carlisle is humble and honest — with older homes, quiet streets, and a few local spots worth bragging about. Great for buyers who want a solid deal without the crowd.

24. Miamisburg = Mazda

Stylish but accessible.
Miamisburg has that mix of historic district charm and newer builds tucked into suburban corners. It’s growing, but still very livable. Good schools, walkable blocks, and some great community events.

25. Xenia = Hyundai

Reviving, affordable, and built with potential.
Xenia’s been quietly leveling up. New schools, community investment, and better housing options are making it more attractive — especially for first-time buyers. Like Hyundai, it’s come a long way and offers more than people expect.

26. Trotwood = Kia

Rebuilding with intention.
Trotwood took some hits but is still here. Redevelopment is happening. There’s real affordability. And there’s space — literal and figurative — for new growth.

27. Clayton = Lincoln

Quietly refined with a lot more space than you expect.
Clayton doesn’t make a big deal about itself. You’ll find larger homes, relaxed streets, and a peaceful pace. If you want something a little more spread out, this is a strong contender.

28. Urbana = Saturn (RIP)

Still out there. Still running.
Urbana feels like one of those places you forget until you visit and remember, “Oh yeah… this is kinda nice.” It’s got the old-school charm, the antique stores, and the houses you can still get for a steal.

29. Waynesville = Land Rover

Rustic, premium, and borderline vacation-home vibes.
Waynesville is for those who want country roads, some land, and an aesthetic. Feels a little like a weekend retreat — and the antique scene is strong.

Series Wrap-Up

From Audis to Fords to Subarus and back again — the Dayton region has every “car brand” of community. You don’t need to love the same make as your neighbor — you just need to find the one that drives like home to you.
